Description

IMPORTANT! This set allows you to build IMPERIAL CHAPLAIN.

HQ resin miniature in 40k Primaris scale with 40mm Scenic base.
The miniatures require painting and assembly (use cyanoacrylate superglue only).

PREPARATION

1. Check

Firstly, check out all the details whether there are no missing or miscast parts.
If you have problems with details – please contact us.

Then, prepare warm water and clean each part with an old toothbrush and a dishwashing liquid to remove any excess mould release agent which may still be on the surface of the parts.
Please leave the parts to soak for a while before scrubbing if they feel very greasy.
We highly recommend not skipping this step!
Any mould release agent left on the model may prevent the primer from adhering to the model.

2. Casting Gates

The casting gates can be removed with a pair of clippers. Use a sanding pad, modelling knife or model file to clean off any excess.
In case gates are too large for the clippers, use a razor saw or piercing saw.

3. Mould Lines

Resin components are cast into silicone moulds that have split lines.
Sometimes, there may be slight lines on the model that shows where the mould joins together.
In that case, you should remove them so that they don’t show up after painting.
Please use a modelling knife or a file to carefully scrape or file away the line.
Then a smooth surface with some fine sandpaper if it’s necessary.

4. Warped Parts and Repositioning

Sometimes thinner parts could be slightly bent or twisted.
You can easily fix that by immersing the piece in hot water or by applying heat from a hairdryer.
The piece should reform to its original shape by itself.
If not, gently twist the piece back into position.
The amount of heat that needs to be applied is often determined by the thickness of the parts. Thicker parts need to be heated for a longer time.
This technique can also be used to bend some parts into shapes and positions to pose models.

Detail is great. Cast is perfect!

  2. Patrick

Totally awesome, the details are amazing.

  3. l.irons99

Absolutely gorgeous quality, no loss of detail from the pictures. No air bubbles, mold lines or tabs and flash is virtually non-existent. Base is approx. 31mm diameter, similar to other elite units, so could be easily used in an actual army. It also comes with the famed skull head option which personally is a must pic. Easily 10/10.

I actually go out of my way to collect and paint all kinds of chaplain models, and this Imperial Confessor is the finest one in my collection. The quality of the model and the build are second to none. There was hardly any flash on the model at all, and what flash was there came right off with a bare minimum of fuss. I honestly have no complaints whatsoever about this model. It was both a challenge and an absolute joy to paint. I can’t wait to see what comes out next.

Another great model for wargames and rpg. High quality in all the details and the resin is very good.

Perfect. I never see same high quality. Congratulations. I love this model.

  7. Toni

I rarely write reviews but this model is so fantastic in every way that i just had to write this recommendation!
What you see is what you get. The pictures do not lie. The quality is as good as it is show in the pictures. With ball-joints in the arms and swap-able head this model it is just too good. It is a bit pricey at 30€ but for me it was well worth the money. Compared to Forgewold minis I think the quality is much better here.

  8. quikegarcia

Incredible model, the size, the cast, the details. And the skull helmet is truly amazing. Top notch.

  9. vilmerviking

Fantastic model, flawless cast. 100% worth the money

Well, I’ve bought resin mini’s in the past and been underwhelmed, so I had to think long and hard about buying this one to be the Chaplin of my Black Templars army. BLOWN AWAY with the quality, not a single mold line on any part and only a tiny feed stub on the pauldrons. Cleaning the model ready to buid literally took 2 seconds of effort. 1000% worth the money!!!

One of the best casted miniatures I ever posessed. What an absolute joy to paint it! Thank you!
